I wasn't expecting an update, but I did get an email from CX to confirm that my flight is still scheduled and there was a 'system error' though they did not elaborate.

I'm so debating whether being delayed may be a benefit given that CX 524 operates on a 773 with a regional J and the next flight out 8 or so odd hours later operates on a 77W with a long-haul J, hahaha
