In addition to covering the loss of MX, the SFO and DEN routes definately take a crack at AS, which should be good for promos/fares from the west coast to Mexico. It's about time UA added SFO-PVR, surely a fairly high traffic leisure route from one of its hubs, but left entirely to AS.
