The topbonus silver card equates to OW ruby status and I know I can choose a seat starting 7 days before departure. I'd like to do that for myself and maybe try to get an exit row seat or in the last rows, that shouldn't be filling up. Any tips so that I can get to sit together with my friend (with no status) on this flight?
