It may be shocking to someone from Houston but this is common for many buildings in NYC as well.
There is not a month in any year where my AC is not on at least a quarter of the time.
We've already hit the high 80s and my azaleas are blooming.
Although I have been in some buildings with the either heat or cold but not both system, I've never experienced it at a hotel.
Always good to experience new things.
