Hi all, I am currently a BA gold member but thinking of moving over to AAdvantage as their upgrades to business from econ seem better value. Dows anyone know if i can use the lhr t5 spa if i have a long haul flight as a BAEC gold memberif i book the ticket on an AA markeyed flight flying on BA metal? Also I'm getting frustrated with BA I would have had the equivalent OW status last year 3 flights earlier which include the SW upgrades, which i now need another 6 flights to get on BA (i can get into this further if anyone is interested). Basically i have a bunch of trans atalantic flights coming up with work (american defense company so will only fly us economy even though they have charged the customer for business class travel). Not sure i'd make it to EP this year, but in terms of being able to upgrade with points, does anyone have experience in which programme is better value when flying from london both east and west?
