bought a c class return in the Belgium sale to LAX but would like to fly back to AMS. Could I just get a connecting avios one way LHR-AMS and take that instead of the LHR BRU leg? I have checked luggage. I know KLM makes a big fuss about that, but I did it once before ex JFK and they simply boarded me for the london flight and the amsterdam flight. Very easy. And they labeled my luggage through to AMS instead of BRU. Is it always that easy?
