I flew IAH-OGG on my honeymoon in Jan. Hawaiian music & videos, mimosas but no amenity kits though.

One word of advice though. There is only one IAH-OGG flight a day. Watch your connection times. Coming in from the East coast they are tight. If you miss the flight you will have to wait until the following day. There is no other option to get you to OGG.
