Multi segment seems useless on AA.com at this point.

AA.com continues to get worst with all the changes AA has been making.
All airlines do married segments. Booking through different site doesn't change that. What changes is that the other websites will book the travel as separate tickets. While this saves money, it also creates headaches in IRROPS and results in needing to pickup and recheck baggage at point the ticket breaks.
