Alaska Air loses $33.1 mln in first quarter
Alaska Air Group Inc. (NYSE:ALK - news), parent of Alaska Airways and Horizon Air, on Thursday posted a first-quarter loss of $33.1 million as business travelers cut back amid the slowing economy and high costs overcame traffic growth.
