I think that the reality here is that BA came up with a good IT solution (and I doubt it was free
) to offer a better flying experience to their higher value customers flying Y and seems to have failed to communicate their intent to their flight crew. I don't fly BA that often, but like to lurke here on the BA thread and read about the latest enhancements as it makes me feel better about being a captive TK flyer
I felt that you and other posters were rather harsh to the OP. Anyway, I wish TK would implement anything similar to BA's FLY (with free seat selection remaining for non-status pax) for their status holders flying Y.
