I would endorse the positive comments about this resort.

My wife and I recently had a five night points stay as plats. We were upgraded to a huge suite 408 with a massive balcony, which was great for sunbathing, apparently only the Presidential suite is bigger. We were comped breakfast for every day of our stay, and also received a couple of very nice welcome gifts.

The pools are fabulous - the salt water pool with lots of fish was a great experience.

The best thing about the hotel though, was the staff. From the concierge, through the check in staff, the bellboys, the room attendants to the wait staff in the restaurants, without exception; all were pleasant, helpful and appeared to be proud their hotel.

We also ate in the Misono Japanese steakhouse and had a wonderful meal.

One tip, if you are flying into Gold Coast Airport, you will find taxis are very expensive, but if you catch the 777 bus from outside the terminal and then change to a tram at Broadbeach South to Surfer's Paradise North station, you can see the hotel when you get off the tram; and it is a couple of minutes walk away. We bought the through ticket on the bus for just over $5AU each.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and would have no hesitation about going back there.
