Oddly I don't know, but I'm assuming the later. After calling in the DSU, my reservation only listed "King Suite" in the app/on the website. One possibly related note we were traveling with an infant and at first Hyatt couldn't apply the DSU as the suites are limited to "two" persons. So there was some manual intervention somewhere.

Based on what we saw in the 3 days there, most folks just treat the location as a beach resort and never head into Dubai or Abu Dhabi city center.
