Hi,
flying SYD-CNS-PER-SYD this August I have the choice of some different aircraft types.
A330
767-300
767-200
717
737-400 (especially if in the convertible J/Y seats)
737-800
737-300
if I try to take a look into the AMADEUS seat map system, it gives no map for these flights !
Reading their web site it shows the modernest aircraft should be the A330 ! But if I see their seatingplan, it shows 2-4-2 in economy and 2-3-2 in business !!! thats only 1 from 8 seat less in one row !
the 767 shows 2-3-2 in economy and 2-2-2 or 2-2-1 in business ( thatīs 1-2 less out of 7 )
The 737 shows 3-3 and 2-2 what means 50% more space!
Is the 737 the best business seat ? Or is the economy seat on the A330 already so wide, that they need not to take more than one out for business class ?

another thing; QF has a service QF64 JNB-SYD, and regarding the seat map 26. and 29. Juli they fly with the new 50 seat version ( which has only 5/6 rows upstairs ) and 31. July it is the old version with 8 rows upstairs ! I hope they will not change the aircraft type until July, I specialy booked that flight to get sleeper seats !!! Or do they often change planes in last minute ???
