Anyone have experience with this property? I plan to visit DC in a few months with the family (young kinds in tow). Is it family friendly? The redemption is pretty steep at 40k points per night. I hope to avoid taxi usage as much as possible so hopefully this property is in the middle of most attractions. Thanks.

Residence Inns are a great alternative with kids - no need to have every meal in a restaurant. I'm partial to the Residence Inn PENTAGON City (not Crystal City) -- it's about 3 blocks from the Pentagon City Metro but the hotel provides a shuttle to/from DCA that was much faster than the one to Crystal City last time I was there, and the staff seems less harried than at Crystal City. For kids, the mall is right there too, if that's their thing. If you are an Uber fan they are ubiquitous.
