Drinking hours start at 8AM on weekdays in NYC. On Sunday it is 10AM (recently revised from noon). This is a matter of city and state law. It has nothing to do with the preferences of Delta, Skyclub, or the airport. As far as I'm aware, every SkyClub in the US begins serving alcohol as early as legally allowed (e.g., 6AM in Seattle).
