Split PNR for better chance of up-op?
I'm GO flying with the mrs (SL) HKGBKK in April. Will I get a better chance of an up-op if I split the booking?

She will not be returning on her non-refundable flight home. I can split the booking to get HKD130 back in airport fees from her ticket. I'm not doing this for the money so would I get a higher chance of an up-op?
