I can't speak to the BOS-PBI flight, but GoJet (G7) seems to be the DL Connection Carrier that struggles most and also the carrier most likely to have an equipment substitution. the CR7 and CR9 regularly get swapped, so always watch your seat. I find the FAs to be extremely pleasant, but my G7 flights seem to be the ones that are always delayed or cancelled, regardless of the route. However, I wouldn't change anything unless for convenience.
They're much better than ExpressJet or Compass.
I think all of their CRJ7s have been modded at this point, while many of the CRJ9s at ExpressJet and even Endeavor are falling apart. I recently flew in a near-broken FC seat that I waited until arrival to tell the FA about. I wasn't about to be IDBed coming off a TATL.
