I found this a bit too good to be true based on what have been discussed on this thread. I must have missed the bit about Tower Room guaranteed free breakfast even you are non-status guest, let along lounge access. This property has never been known to be generous...
All true. The whole point of the Towers rate is that you get access to the Towers section of the hotel including the Towers lounge access, even with no status. Equally, there is no other way of getting Towers except for paying a Towers rate.
Towers booking (incl. using 14.5k points per night instead of 12k) includes:
- Breakfast at the Oyster bar on the top floor (I can't remember being offered the ground floor cafe, and also can't remember whether the lounge has breakfast);
- Towers lounge privileges including afternoon tea and evening cocktails; and
- Assignment on the top two floors (the Towers floors) of the hotel.
I also suspect the AMEX Biz Card benefit would only get you to the poor lounge, not the nice lounge at this property.
Correct. Towers lounge is only for those booked on a Towers rate.
