I think the OP will get a King and a Murphy, it'll be a decent room, and he'll get $100 as well. If the hotel really does have generally good customer service (aside for the curt emails), then this will hopefully happen without a fuss.
This would be common in a hospitality suite, although I wouldn't expect the Murphy bed to be a king.
