Yes, they do, and it's at least 7 years:
So not only is it not a good time for you for the SPG
personal Amex now, it probably never will be (because less than 2 years from now the SPG Amex is not likely to exist any more as such).
Your only hope, if you never had it before, would be the SPG
business Amex, but it has much steeper spend requirements ($5k in 3 months plus $3k in the following 3 months):
