A search on the Emirates website, visa and passport information, with data sourced from TIMATIC web, clearly states:

Passport and other documents accepted for entry must be valid on arrival.

Visa required.

Visa exemptions. Nationals of X for a maximum of 90 days.

But I am eager to hear your feedback, experience, or other information sources.
