I am not sure where to ask this question so I thought I ask it in a flame free area.

I am travelling from CLE to SIN via ORD and HKG on AA/CX. I am hoping to hand carry a IRobot Roomba in my carry-on bag- removed from box it came in. Anyone knows if carrying a IRobot Roomba will be an issue with TSA security? Don't intend to put item in check-in item as I have items taken from my bag before.

Because it has a lithium ion battery, I will remove it and wrap it separately which is allowed by TSA as it is within the 100-160watts limit as outlined in their webpage.
