I have a Wells Fargo Signature Visa Cash Back card, 1% cash back and I think that's it. Is a card like that even worth going the retention offer route? I'm fairly new to rewards programs. Have the AMEX Blue Everyday and just converted my Citi Diamond (why call it Diamond, it literally offers nothing) to the Double Cash. Up next is like the CSP as a free $500 should be easily attainable. I don't travel as much as I'd like so I'd likely convert points to cash.
I just realized a few months ago I have the option of paying my rent online ($965) on a CC with no fee so I was putting it on the WF and getting my measly 1%, will put it on Double Cash until a better offer opens up.
Brings up a second question really. What's the opinion on where my next card should come from? Again, I don't travel much so cash back is really what I'm looking for.
