Ah, but this is a very specific protection of Admiral's Club revenue. Primarily domestic AA FF (a sizeable number) would have been able to stop paying the $$$ once oneworld agreements came into effect. I understand this. It's is the only notable exception though.
It's just that the past experiences of many here and on the AA board, seem to have been that it's allowed. CharlesMD's post, and the following, lifted from a thread a few weeks ago also point towards this. I just have a sense that it's a general OW Sapphire benefit.
