People seem to like their experiences in Kotz and Nome - comparing them to Barrow is like comparing apples to, say, rotten apples. Just because they are all far north... well, you know. Unfortunately, I never made it to Kotz. (Plane diverted to Nome, then back to ANC - no one got in or out of OTZ for 3 days...)
