I agree, no logic, that this thread brings up a lot.

Not mentioned is that FAs are underpaid - I think so, anyway, others may just said "low paid" . From what I can gather, AA has been able to reduce pay, benefits and worsen working conditions as one of many means to struggle out of bankruptcy.

FAs may well be unhappy about these things.

Then service gets cut to passengers and they resent that.

So what we have is two groups who may be at each others throats 'cause there is no one else around!!

I have seen grumpy FAs and I try to keep out of their way. I have seen jerky passengers and do not appreciate at all the way they treat FAs.

For my part, I treat FAs the way I would like to be treated - just I try to do with everyone else. But give them no special leeway to take their mood out on me, nor should anyone else.

A minor bit of bad manners ... well, I look the other way.

To think of some one thrown off a plane not for sitting in the wrong seat, not for refusing a directive, but as cleary stated by the OP, for grousing mildly as they complied with the first directive they received ... forget it!! If that ever happened to me, I would chase that sucker down through admin and make their life a living hell until they apologized and my situation right or lost their job.

Tyrants is tyrants is tyrants ... pax or FAs.

Best wishes.
