I was one of those people, but after a recent stay at the Hyatt Berlin and probably having more stays there in the future, I decided to jump for a comp offer and can now say that I am fortunate enough to have top status in all three (Hilton, Hyatt, Starwood)...and am planning to re-qualify in all of those, which I will most probably manage in Hilton for this year relatively easily, and in Starwood, due to my status there only expiring in 2006, it should also be very well possible, if not this year, then next year...and I think depending on my travel pattern, will manage in Hyatt as well. Am curious to compare top status recognition at these three and will report back! (have a stay at the Hyatt Cologne tomorrow)
