No ticket issued and 24 hrs almost up
I booked over the phone last night at about 6pm pacific time. I did the phone booking so I could select my seats in advance since we have an infant.
I got the booking confirmation with the 6 digit booking reference# but the booking has not yet been ticketed. My concern is that nowhere in my booking confirmation does it confirm the price of the trip. I called Swiss this morning at about 11:30am pacific and I said my 24 hours free cancellation is up at 6pm tonight and I still have no confirmation of the price, other than what I was told on the phone. They said don't worry the price is confirmed and they would send me another email confirming the price.
Well they sent me another email with my itinerary and it still has no price.
I am now at almost 24 hours since I booked and my reservation has not been ticketed and I have no written confirmation from Swiss as to the price of the itinerary - only what I was told on the phone and wrote down on a piece of paper. They have not charged my credit card yet either
I am nervous that they may ticket the trip after the 24 hours has passed and then I am stuck with whatever they bill me if the price has gone up.
Am I overthinking this or are there any suggestions on what to do in order to get some sort of WRITTEN/E-MAIL confirmation as to the amount of the fare
