So I booked a flight with the Delta Amex Platinum companion cert last week.

Just got an email with an itinerary change from Delta that says:

"There has been a change affecting your trip. If you are not satisfied with this updated itinerary, you may be eligible to change your flight(s) at no extra cost. ( Conditions Apply) "

But I can't find anything in the conditions regarding the cert.

Has anyone ever run into this before and been able to "rebook" a new itinerary without losing the certificate or having to pay the $200/person change fee?

(Ironically the alternate flight I'd like to take now is about $100 cheaper).
