There is no compensation for this and AA does not provide any customer service gestures for this sort of schedule change. As noted, you could cancel your ticket for a refund.

But, if you are headed to Washington, flying into IAD adds the time & expense of IAD over DCA when many people make the reverse trade off (connection to avoid IAD).

You can also avoid the miserable -145 if you take the ORD service. Still 2.5 hours out of your day, but an immeasurably more pleasurable experience.
