Thumbs up I really like my Bose QC2s

I've used my QC2s for some time, now...

What I like:
If i just want to tune out repetitive noise (overnight flights), I wear them wireless. NO BLACK BOX and cables to trip on when I wake up to find the lav.

Long single AAA battery life (not to mention, NO BLACK BOX...)

Comfortable ear pads - I've had some reconstructive surgery, and my right ear can get sensitive on me. The hedphone pad surrounds my ear, no problem, even on long flights.

Nice, compact case - with all the goodies I can use, such as extension cable, twin-plug adapter, etc.

I think (subjectively) these are a bit better on the NR and sound reproduction (I only wish aircraft audio ssytems were,) and seem to generate less "white noise" than the old QC1s.

When I had one working not quite up to snuff, one call got me a new set - with my old ones returned.

I can use these in all kinds of situations - aircraft for NR or to watch DVDs / listen to audio, in a hotel, office or other place noise can be constant and distracting - yet if somena addresses me, I can hear them.

What I don't: I guess the only thing I don't like is the Bose pricing system! But, over time, for me, this has been a great investment, and I'd do it all over again.

FYI, there is a series of articles, updated, by David M Rowell, rating several NR headphone sets, at this URL
