AA PLT benefits guide does not list OW guest access either. Coincidence? Probably not.
Also, remember that AA does like to do things differently, i.e. no lounge access for non-international travel, with a special definition of what constitutes international.
Of course, whether or not BA (or other OW carriers) enforce (or are even aware of) these rules is a different issue...
