If your Doubletree is the suites in Doheney Beach/Dana Point we received a fantastic corner suite overlooking the ocean with our reward stay.

If it's the new Irvine property - we paid I think - and got no upgrade. They had no lounge. Not a terrible stay, but not a place we would go back to.
