I think that the post-9/11 rules that give aircrew god-like powers need to be reexamined, especially in light of recent meltdowns.

DL FAs can be rude, but never like this. The FA is question is clearly mentally unstable, and should not be in the air. The "bad day" excuse is not an excuse for someone in that position. Maybe people need to start recording encounters with flight crew.
