Of course, you'll never know whether she supports you, but United could inquire with her.
She just stayed completely quiet with a neutral expression--I couldn't read if she was embarrassed or not. I did try to read her name tag when she came around for trash collection later, and while I might have imagined it, she seemed to turn away a little so I was unable to get a name.
Because it was so hard to gauge her take on the situation, I'm not sure I would have included her name in the email to United anyway, had I been able to get it. I honestly don't know if she would support me or lie. I did mention her being there in my factual recounting in the email, but didn't focus on her being a witness. That's self-evident when reading my email.

I have definitely had my bad days, but I was actually in a really good mood when this occurred (thank goodness for all involved, ha!!) and truly didn't get short, pissy, annoyed, or anything when I was told there were no snackboxes left. I genuinely just acted confused and actually still had a smile on my face the first time I responded noting my confusion, which Jim then flipped out about.

Upon hearing his story I would ask if he wants police to meet our flight at our destination. If he says yes (which I'd advocate strongly), then I would pay for inflight wifi, which I have never done, to blast out (over private text messages and also in public on Facebook and Twitter), "I am in the air on UA flight XXX, seat XXX right now to Denver. A flight attendant is physically violent and behaving erratically onboard. Please call Denver airport police immediately and have them meet us at the gate."
Not to impugn anything about airport police, but they're generally not swamped with the type of stuff going on in the inner city. They will respond.
I'm actually a she, for what it's worth, and I wish you'd been my seatmate!!
