Highway 50 In Sierra Closed Due To Mudslides
The main highway to South Lake Tahoe (from the California side) will be closed indefinitely. I haven't seen any estimate of reopening. It looks like it might take weeks to clear out all the mud and debris, and that's not accounting for how there is more rain in the forecast for the coming week. Plan accordingly.
