I'm sorry to say that I also found your post distinctly negative. Your opening paragraph was complimentary enough (which is why I read your report), but then you just seem to complain about everything.

A lot of what you reported -- no/expensive alcohol, Muslim culture, small, quiet islands, expensive, did I say expensive?, resorts -- are well known facts. Too bad you had to travel half way around the world to discover this. I am glad you noticed the natural beauty of the place though.
