As for Storrow Drive in Boston, one of the biggest problems there is that it was built as a, and is a 40-mph auto-only parkway but is treated by most drivers as a full 65-mph Interstate. The severe lack of MUTCD-standard signage and lane striping in the Boston area is another handicap.
