Now you're getting into reading people's mind as to how they book their flights(Psychology). I am not an expert in that area so I am afraid I can't help you.

I could tell you that the CRJ flight was in there before the A319 flight as this route will be served by CRJs effective 01JUN so your last paragraph is busted.

But I really don't know how to analyse people's behaviour, sorry.
