Yeah, but even then, the fee you pay to transfer still ends up being the exact same if not more as if you just bought it yourself.
I looked at moving enough for a flight that costs 16k points, so I would have had to move 12k points. Well once I moved those 12k plus paid the $100 fee (I think thats how much it was to move that many points) it came out more expensive.
