Only Alaska has RNP approaches into JNU. DL has talked about developing their own but they haven't done that yet. Don't think aircraft performance was an issue, they should be more or less the same. If it had been an issue they'd just have weight restricted the plane rather than cancel flights.
You sure about that? Their operational performance improved drastically once they sent the 737 back in the winter. And they've had little to no issues with JNU in summer.
I too understood that they developed their own RNP procedure for JNU (apparently AS wouldn't let them use theirs).
