If I had to overnight in HNL, I'd take the 8AM DL flight from SEA arrive at 1243 and spend 23h 56m in HNL leaving at 1239. We did something similar to break up ORD-HKG-SYD four years ago. Got a room at the Sheraton after flying CX, took a morning tour in HKG, and hooked up with QF to SYD that evening.
