Who knows, maybe we'll see those First and Business Class award redemption levels on Emirates return to more realistic levels someday. I'm not holding my breath though... Regardless, a little good will often goes a long way. Nice play, Alaska. ^
It will be interesting to see if such pettiness by the Delta manager who made the call to remove the part will go unpunished.
Reminds me of the DL VP who said they were pulling JNU back to seasonal because the local Juneauites didn't support Delta. He conveniently omitted DL's disastrous idea to try sending a plane (CR7) to JNU that didn't have the right navigational instruments for the weather, and therefore couldn't land (or take off) unless the weather was crystal clear.
