First off I'd like to thank everyone who responded to my post. FlyerTalk is a great community and I appriciate the comments and the frankness in which they were delivered.
I reread my post from last night and I guess that's why they say don't post when you're angry, huh?
I do plan on writing a letter, and don't worry, I think my attitude will be a bit different now that I'm more than a few hours removed from the situation.
I do like AS and I do plan on traveling with them. More than anything I was amazed that my ticket was lost and I was told it never existed.
I have no problem with either agent (except the SJC's one attitude) as they were just doing their job. My problem is with AS for having a reservation system that booked me, charged me, and deleted my reservation. That's what caused the delays and hassle. The agents were just trying to help in a situation that I don't think they caused.
So I'm going to write a letter to AS and try to get this worked out. Thanks again everyone (even for telling me to maybe calm down a bit)
