I have been a member of AsiaMiles since 1999 and they have not raised award level since then. I am not sure why you say, "Asia Miles was not so great before." I know BA EC's and QF FFP's "enhancement" last year, but it is nothing related with AsiaMiles attraction itself, which had been already there.
Am I missing anything?
By the way, CX and AsiaMiles are my favorite, but I am a not big fan of these.
