Hi, I'm hoping I can get some advice/tips for a tricky itinerary that I am struggling to research/book successfully.

I'm looking to fly from Europe to Australia but with a month long stopover in China along the way. Outbound end of March, return November this year.

The return would be without a stopover, but I might need to change the date so would need it to be changeable after departure without too nasty a penalty.

All this on one world carriers, but sadly in economy as I'm working to a budget! Not too worried about adding additional connections within Asia (e.g. HKG/SIN to China) if the overall flexibility and cost works.

What tools should I be using? Currently using airline websites but struggling to get them to work for me. Any tried and tested routes I should be exploring?
