That sounds approximately like something WNS India would send if the PNR was sent to them for refund but was still active. Refunds won't cancel bookings themselves.
Either your PNR was sent to them in error, or they pulled up the wrong ticket number when working on someone else's refund.
aah the delights on WNS, this does seem apt for them, as my company uses them too and we know all to well of their emails, internal is worse
