So I had a flight JFK BOM JFK in Jan , dint travel on it.

Later approached them to change it and they said no show penalty and change fee all amounts to 500 USD which I was fine with , further they say 1000 USD is the fare diff I have to pay whereas I had specifically searched and saw that on the date I want the fare was same as to what I had paid for.

Ditched d ticket and travelled on EY instead .

Now I am planning to go BOM SFO and tried to use this ticket again so on contacting them they are asking for 500 USD (change fee) andddd get this.... 1200 USD in the name of fare difference to change the ticket !!!
The fare I checked is less than 500 USD on my intended date of travel ... I have paid for a return fare and just asking for one leg journey in lieu .. this is outright loot . Asking for 1700 USD for a BOM SFO Y class ticket , will never ever make any bookings on TK.

Is the fare difference concept different for TK bcz I have done similar thing with EY and they quote same fare diff ( if any ) as shown on their site.

Can anybody help me with the appropriate platform to reach TK on , their twitter and India call centre is as good as non existent.
