And what did they play on their TV's..Video hadn't been launched then. It was only available for home use in the late 70's and not installed on Aircraft until the mid-80s

In the 70's they had 16mm Movies played on a Big Movie cassette players, sound came through via tubes to The Seat and Large Headsets

Each Cabin had its own equipment so there would be 4 or 5 separate units on a 747.
