I've never flown an A380 in general in business class. I've heard it's a lot quieter and the flight is a lot smooth, which are two of the main reasons why I am looking into the route.

LH makes a nice change from UA. The aircraft are cleaner and the service is more professional. Whether the seat and food are any better can be debated.

The 380 is indeed quieter, though that business cabin is very large at 90 seats.

I think BOS-FRA is on the 748, which is a wonderful aircraft and should also be on anyone's bucket list. BOS would also be an easier transfer than changing between airports at NYC.
